The Challenge
Little Engine Moving Pictures knows how to up the ante. A challenge, you say? We’re in!
They came to us looking for a series of games for preschoolers to go hand in hand with their live-action television series, and handed us a generous list of ingredients: the games had to jive with their brand, have educational chops, be available in English and French, and prioritize accessibility by adhering to AODA standards.

The Process
Preschool is our happy place, and we love making games linked to curricula! Even better? Our penchant for partnerships came in handy.
There were three broadcasters involved–TVO kids, TFO, and SRC–but our existing relationships meant that the process stayed smooth. On top of that, pairing up with Little Engine Moving Pictures made for a collaborative dream-team. When our brains were sticky with questions, their brains were bursting with answers about everything from the specifics of their brand to the cuteness of the pugs.

Accreditations
The Cutie Pugs games have been played over 165,000 times in the two years since their launch, and each little gamer has played for an average of 5 minutes per session.
Our amazing new friendship with Little Engine Moving Pictures has now produced two fantasttic games that won the 2019 Youth Media Alliance Award of Excellence for Best Preschool Digital, and the 2019 Kidscreen Preschool Digital Award
